José María Vilaplana was one of the most prominent luthiers on the already prestigious Alhambra’s roster. Son of the also prestigious luthier José María Vilaplana Sr., during his more than 35 years career he stood out as a passionate craftsman who only goal was to produce the best guitars on the market. 

This guitar, with an elegant and exquisite design, is one of his latest creations and represents the highest range of Alhambra flamenco guitars.

This José Maria Vilaplana model with its elegant design, follows the line of the highest level guitars. Like the rest of the guitars in this series, its demanding construction process results in a guitar that not only stands out for its aesthetics, but also for having some of the best virtues: a powerful and enveloping sound, which can be robust and delicate at the same time.

The top is made of AAA class solid German spruce, the back, and sides of the highest quality of Spanish solid cypress, and the fretboard of luxury ebony.
